Minor(s): Epic Duels Online Community Expansion

We occasionally break out the outstanding EU Expansion that the online community put together, that we had a small part in contributing to. 12 of the 14 decks are outstanding and were part of a GenCon Epic Duels tournament that Roman and Cagey participated in.

Just Roman’s opinions on these, light then dark, best to worst:

• Dash Rendar — This deck is good fun, and for a character I like.
• Bastila & Carth — This captures the KOTOR heroes very well.
• Mara Jade Skywalker & Anakin Skywalker: Good enough deck for these characters.
• Talon Kardde — Ditto
• Solo Twins — Ditto
• Kyle Katarn — We tweak Kyle Katarn’s A3 no-actions to A4, and Jan’s A7 to A9. Then it’s fine for pre-Jedi Kyle.
• Corran Horn — It’s underpowered and clunky for a character we don’t really know so we don’t play it.

• Darth Malak — As long as you don’t mind the character, I’ve had a lot of fun with this deck over the years.
• Nom Anor — Good deck for this character and the Vong.
• Darth Bane & Zannah — Pretty fun deck for the old Sith Lords.
• Exar Kun & Ulic Qel-Droma — More to explore for both characters but this one is fun enough.
• Thrawn & Rukh — Fun if outdated (because of Rukh) but new one(s) are likely on the way with next Ahsoka season.
• Prince Xizor & Guri — Solid if unspectacular. Always good to have a strong-ish shooter.
• Asajj & Durge — Overpowered but there are many good decks for both characters including our own Asajj deck so we don’t play it.

If you like KOTOR, go ahead and add Malak and Bastila. If you like Shadows of the Empire, go ahead and add Dash and Xizor.

• We LOVE the Myrkr Forest map.
• We love the Kessel Prison-Mine.
