Some might be here expecting to see imagery from the Solo movie, but this deck was developed long before that, uses quotes from the OT, and is actually a version of Scott Hagarty’s classic Lando deck. That Lando deck has been around for almost as long as any deck we’ve played with before we added Han to it. We could just re-make this deck with new imagery and card names but if someone really wants to see Young Han and Young Lando, I advise they make their own deck, based upon material from the Solo movie. To be honest, just based upon the Solo movie, I probably wouldn’t put Han and Lando together anyways. Han would be with Chewie or maybe Qi’ra, Lando would be with T7.
What does this deck do: Lives and dies with the roll of the dice.

Lando Smuggler – 8 Talent Cards
3x SMUGGLER’S AMBUSH
A4*. *If Han can also attack the target character,
attack value is 6.
2x GAMBLER
Choose a character Lando can attack. Roll the die.
If the die roll is green, the chosen character takes
damage equal to the die roll. If the die roll is purple,
discard a card.
2x CARD PLAYER
Lando may exchange places with any character
on the board. You may reshuffle all GAMLBER and
CON MAN cards in the discard pile into the draw
pile.
1x CON MAN
For the rest of this turn, when the die rolled is
purple, you may make one re-roll of the die.
Playing this card does not count as an action.
Han Smuggler – 4 Talent Cards
2x CALL IT LUCK
A5*. *Roll the die. If you roll a green, add the value
of the die to the attack. If you roll a purple, subtract
the value from the attack.
2x A GOOD BLASTER
A4. After attacking, you may move Han up to 4
spaces.
Theme: Luck your way to victory
Path to Victory: CON MAN + GAMBLER + CALL IT LUCK or CON MAN + GAMBLER + CARD PLAYER + repeat
Strengths: Potential for high attacks, high direct damage
Weaknesses: Weak defense, potential for cards to backfire
Strategy: Use hit-and-run until you can get CON MAN to set up die-rolling cards, or just roll the dice and take your chances
Test Level: Low
Tier: 3
Inspiration: This deck was created because we, mostly Erik, wanted to see Lando & Han together as a duo, and as a group we tend to like team decks. We more or less assigned the cards from Scott Hagarty’s Lando & Bespin Wing Guards deck to this deck, with a “reshuffle the discard pile” twist. This deck is fun if you can tolerate luck of the die being the determining factor in a game’s outcome, some in our group have higher tolerance for it than others, so we only play this deck occasionally.
